Free Makeup Samples

As a makeup lover, free samples are easily one of the best things about the Internet. Nowadays we can simply request samples be sent to us rather than the old-fashioned method of having to go to the store! Free samples are not only a good way to save money, they are actually one of the best ways to find new brands and products too. A lot of my makeup knowledge these days comes from trying out free samples, especially when it comes to skincare. Skincare samples are probably my favorite as they always seem to be the most generous (you will often get more than 1 sachet/bottle to try out), plus most of the time they are actually decent products!

Below I will list some of the best makeup samples I have tried in the past month. Most of these are still available!

CoverGirl & Olay 3-in-1 Liquid Foundation

This is from CoverGirl & Olay’s Simply Ageless product line, I received this as a sample from Lifescript for completing a sponsor survey. I love Olay products, so I was really excited to give this a try. I think it’s now one of my favorite foundations, even including expensive brands! Good, even coverage, no flakiness. It has a very creamy consistency and I do feel like my face is getting moisturized while wearing it. I’ve never been a huge CoverGirl fan but this is now one of my go-to foundations for daily wear. I also like the dispenser — you get every single drop out of the bottle and you don’t have to wrestle the top off to get the last few applications out of the bottle!

L’Oreal Hydra Genius Moisturizer

I love L’Oreal samples, they are always giving them out too! They are usually decent sizes as well, this moisturizer sample came in a 5.oz sample bottle which lasted a good few weeks. L’Oreal usually always has free samples on their website, last year they were giving out their Advanced Haircare shampoo & conditioners too. Burt’s Bees Radiance Body Lotion

This was another sample I got from Lifescript, I absolutely love Burt’s Bees products as they are cruelty-free and always use organic products. I hadn’t tried this particular body lotion yet so it was really nice to be able to sample it! The sample size was pretty small – I’d say about 1/10th the size of a regular bottle, but there was still enough to get a good amount of uses from it. The lotion is actually really good, it’s super light so you feel like your skin actually absorbs it! I’d definitely recommend trying this one out.

I will keep this list regularly updated if I find any new great makeup samples, so be sure to check back if you didn’t manage to get these ones! There’s all kinds of samples you can get your hands on, but remember a lot of the time they are only available until supplies last. For this reason I would recommend bookmarking your favorite freebie site so you can check each week or so, new samples comes around quite often!

You can also still use the old-fashioned method of actually contacting a brand and asking for samples, or even popping into the drugstore. Many stores these days will gladly give out free samples of their products if you ask, even Target were giving out a bunch of makeup samples at one point!

Makeup Sample Kit – Multiple Brands

Hey makeup lovers! Here’s one of the best sample kits we’ve seen in a while. It’s for U.S citizens only but there’s a lot of goodies in it – MAC, Sephora, Olay, Clinique and quite a few others! You probably won’t be able to get something from every brand, but there’s a big chance you’ll get more than one product to try.

A few of the samples I have seen so far are two small Sephora tester palettes (single shades) and an Olay 2-in-1 moisturizer and primer. There is a lot of decent shampoo samples available too, so look out for them!

Free Revlon Makeup Samples

You can now sign up with Viewpoints to receive some free Revlon makeup samples! There are over 30 different makeup samples which you are able to choose from, however you will likely only receive one of your selection. I’d recommend only choosing 5 at the most, this way if one of your choices is out of stock you will have a higher chance of getting your other picks! 🙂

These samples are currently only shipping to the U.S, sorry if that puts anyone out. You may also be asked to write a short review on the product after you’ve sampled it, you can do this on any of your favorite social media (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc!).

To get your free Revlon sample, just sign up at Freeflys and find the Revlon sample on the Free Beauty Samples section. You’ll need to fill out a short form asking which products you’d most like to sample!

MAC Makeup Haul Giveaway

Here’s a brand new giveaway from S&S. They are giving away various different MAC Makeup limited edition vanity cases with up to 10 MAC products of your choosing! This giveaway is currently available to enter if you are in the US, UK or Australia!

S&S have done a ton of great giveaways, but this is the first time I’ve seen them work with a big brand like MAC. This one looks especially cool to me, those vanity cases look amazing! The winners get to choose which products they want with their vanity case too which is really nice.

From what I can tell, there will be a lot of different products to choose from, but it looks like they have a huge assortment of lipsticks, palettes and kabuki brushes mainly.

Here is a whole new bunch of CoverGirl makeup samples potentially up for grabs! These are currently only available to residents of the U.S due to shipping limitations.
